About us
We are a friendly group who welcome beginners, as well as having many students who return termly. We love birthdays and cake, and have smashing get-togethers at the end of term exhibitions. We love to see our students grow in confidence, develop creative skills, improve their wellbeing and make friends.
Our Team
Karen – Franchise Owner
Our franchise owner and class assistant is Karen. After a long career in hospitality, she returned to the UK from Madrid, to semi-retire by the sea. Karen set up the franchise in 2022. Her preferred medium is watercolour.
Clare and Christie – Art Tutors
Our tutors are Clare and Christie. Clare has been with us since 2023. She previously taught Art at secondary level, and holds an MA in Fine Art as well as her teaching qualification. Her main practice is drawing. Christie joined us in 2024, after 15 years of teaching in Colleges. Her preferred medium is paint.
Art Classes in Worthing
We are based at the Conservative club, Goring-by-Sea. We have use of a newly renovated room with French doors that open onto a garden (great for our annual summer barbecue!). Our classes are Tuesday and Wednesday mornings 10-1pm, and Wednesday afternoons 2-5pm (with tea/coffee/cake/biscuit breaks!). Our location is easily accessible from Worthing, Rustington, Littlehampton and Findon, with plenty of parking nearby and on site.
