About us

The Seasons Art Class Tenterden opened its doors in January 2024 and we have welcomed over 120 students during our first year alone. Classes are run with a true passion for creating art, and our students tell us that they feel nurtured and inspired, and love learning with us.

Our Team

Margaret and Nick – Branch Managers

Branch Managers – Margaret and Nick, oversee the course and take pride in organising everything needed for each class – be that brushes, painting mediums, cups of tea or cake, and are always on hand. We welcome students in each lesson and are ready to help wherever we can.

Samantha – Tutor

Samantha (Sam) our wonderfully talented tutor is a professional Botanical Watercolourist, whose work is regularly exhibited or found in printed publications. She has worked with Seasons for several years but her approach is always fresh and enlightening. She is very experienced in teaching all mediums used in the course.

Art Classes in Tenterden

Many of our students join us as complete beginners, having not picked up a paintbrush since their school days. However, they soon build confidence and a sense of pride in their achievements as they develop their creative skills throughout the course, learning at a comfortable pace that suits them.

Our students love the demonstrations and personal guidance given by our tutor, and they enjoy the variety of mixed media we offer. No two weeks are ever the same. The Seasons Art Class Tenterden encourages our students to be social and supportive towards one another, with many becoming firm friends outside the classroom.
