Join our comprehensive adult art classes for absolute beginners to improvers, just like you.
Throughout the 14 weeks, you will follow our carefully designed curriculum, offering a variety of artistic techniques and approaches.
The course covers 4 modules, including: drawing, oil pastel, watercolour and acrylic. With step-by-step guidance and tailored tutoring.
Our Team
Shafa – Manager
As course Manager, it is my duty to ensure that you are welcomed to a comfortable, fun learning environment and make sure that the course runs smoothly. My priority is to provide all necessary resources, keeping our classes structured and organised, with supplies accessible and suitable for learning. I’m here to answer any queries or concerns you may have about the course and will happily assist you where needed. I work alongside Gwen in class, ensuring that you are always receiving guidance when needed.
Jane – Art Tutor
I trained originally in London at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a scenic artist and prop maker, going on to work in the professional theatre. I later went on to study traditional figurative sculpture and painting at Staffordshire University.
I work from my own studio, creating portraits and bronze busts and statues, and have taught art for over thirty years.
Working with Seasons as Art Tutor means I can share my passion for painting and art mediums, and as the students are there for both education and a communal leisure activity, it means our classes are always relaxed but most importantly fun!
Art Classes at Stockport
Our art classes are held at The Heaton centre in Heaton Moor, in the Hawthorne room which is the largest room on the first floor. The room has windows on all 3 walls giving us lots of daylight which is great for doing Art.
