Art Classes for Adults in Cockfosters & Enfield

About us

Our art classes focus on building a passionate community of art enthusiasts. For over three years, we’ve created a collaborative environment where students share ideas, tips, and experiences. This spirit of sharing fosters a welcoming space that keeps students engaged, inspired, and eager to grow as artists.

Our Team

Anna (Branch Manager)

Running adult art classes for the over 50s has been such a rewarding experience. It’s amazing to see participants rediscover their creativity and rekindle passions they may have set aside years ago. The classes create a warm, welcoming community where everyone can share stories, laugh and connect through art. Seeing their joy and pride as they create something new makes every session a delightful and fulfilling experience for all of us.

Anne – Tutor

Anne is an internationally exhibited artist and teacher. She realised how common it was for negative early educational experiences to discourage adults from making art later in life and believes that it’s a misconception that talent or creativity is necessarily innate.

Testimonials From Our Students

I just wanted to say thank you to you, your tutor and team for a wonderful art course. It was all excellent - very enjoyable and clearly by the standard of the work the other students produced, is a course that's easy to learn from and I will recommend it to my friends.
Thank you also for your compliments, encouragement and support, as I probably would not have got around to painting for quite a while otherwise. Do thank the returning students for the encouragement and compliments that they gave me.

Charlotte

I joined the classes to learn how to paint. The supportive atmosphere and encouragement from others are what I enjoy most. It’s been a great learning experience. Now I have a mini art gallery at home – hall and kitchen and I’m proud of my progress so far.

Phylis

After retiring, I wanted to return to art after 35 years, having only done some watercolour. I started as a beginner, and the course offered so much more, like drawing techniques, oil pastels, and acrylics. The supportive community and excellent teachers have helped me grow in confidence and skill.

Litsa

I joined the class after seeing it on Facebook, needing a break from caring for my parents. As a complete novice, I've definitely improved since day one. I love the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the supportive feedback, and learning various painting techniques with different mediums each term.
