About us

Our art classes are held in the Cricket Pavilion in Broxhead Common Cricket Ground in the charming village of Lindford, Hampshire. Our venue has a bright airy room looking out onto beautiful grounds with ample free parking.

Our Team

Joanna and I have been running our classes together for over five years. Joanna is our Artist, she trained as a graphic designer and illustrator and worked for local and national businesses, before going onto teaching in schools and further education and now working for the Seasons Art Class.

We work closely together to make sure that each session runs smoothly and that every student both new and returning receive the attention they need. We share a common goal of nurturing our students’ artistic growth.

Art Classes At Our Alton Branch

We have a wonderfully friendly atmosphere, where new students and returning students feel relaxed and happy. The positive and inclusive environment allows all students to thrive together, regardless of their skill level. Many of our students return to our courses year after year because they enjoy the classes so much, saying it’s the highlight of their week. The enthusiasm and passion that students bring to each session is incredibly inspiring and makes running these classes a truly rewarding experience for both of us.

In essence our art class is more than just a place to learn and practice art; it’s a community where friendships are formed, skills are honed, and creativity is celebrated. The combination of a friendly atmosphere, supportive peers, and a welcoming environment makes it a cherished part of everyone’s week.

I joined Seasons Art Class as a nervous ‘Beginner’ not having drawn or painted since school. I was soon put at ease by the welcoming atmosphere and encouragement that I received from our excellent instructors. I learnt new techniques using varying mediums and attempting new challenges which I would never have thought possible. All of this was achieved in a friendly atmosphere of approval and encouragement. It is always a pleasure to return and see familiar faces and to learn new skills.

I have enjoyed my classes with Seasons Art. It makes me actually put aside three hours a week to do something I love doing. I have learnt new skills and explored different genres. Joanne's explanations at the start of the lesson are very clear and you don't feel afraid to ask questions. She is also willing to help you out on a one-to-one basis. It is a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. Even being reminded whose turn it is to make the tea! (Thanks Jocelyn!). Thoroughly recommend it!

I would like to say to anyone thinking about it to go for it. It's very enjoyable and I look forward to it every week. The tutors are amazing and give you step-by-step guidance. I'm very happy with what I have achieved each week. You have the opportunity to use different mediums supplied by the course, and it's fun finding out what you can do!
